Ginkgo (2) Giant Trees

Ginkgo is a tree brought from China in the 15th century, but you can also see quite large trees.

The one I saw in Himeji, Hyogo prefecture this summer was the biggest one I have ever seen (Fig).

According to Internet searches, Japan’s largest ginkgo tree, named Big Yellow, is located in Fukaura Town, Aomori Prefecture. I want to see it someday.
