I go to the highest point of the city I visited, anyway.
The tallest building in Osaka is Abeno Harukas in front of Tennoji Station. With a height of 300m, it seems to be the tallest building in Japan. Tokyo’s Sky Tree is taller, but it is a tower.
There is an observatory on the top floor. The mountains you can see are roughly the boundary between Osaka and neighboring prefectures. So you can feel the size of Osaka. The weather was fine on the day I went, and I could see the edge of Osaka Prefecture in the south and Mt. Hiei in Kyoto in the northeast. The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge can also be seen in the west.
On the contrary, on bad weather, it is so high that it can be covered with clouds.
There are many museums, department stores, and restaurants in the lower layers. It is recommended to spend a leisurely time.
